Fishing Season begins in Ontario the 3rd Saturday in May
Cedar Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 4.
Walleye
Limit 4 in possession
3 Must be under 18”
1 Walleye between 18” – 21” is allowed to be cleaned in camp – This is your 1 over to take home. These are NOT to be eaten in camp.
Perch
All Perch caught & taken need to be 10” or larger.
Crappie
Please take crappie 12” and larger.
Smallmouth Bass
None over 15”.
Northern Pike
Limit: 4 in possession
A favorite for ease of catch, fight and table qualities, northern pike fishing can be fast and furious on Cedar Lake. Cedar Point Resort policy asks that all pike over 27.5" are released.
Muskellunge
Season opens 3rd Saturday in June.
Cedar Lake is a Class A Muskie Fishery. This means a "legal" muskie must be 54" or longer! We promote Catch, Photo, Release. Take several pictures and good measurements and have a Replica mount produced.
In Possession Means Any Fish that you have:
- Eaten that day
- That is in your Cabin – whether raw or cooked
- In a Live Well or on a stringer
- In the Freezers in the Fish Cleaning Room.
